Student Visas in Singapore
International students must obtain a Student Pass to study in Singapore. Once accepted by a university, you will receive the necessary documentation to apply for this pass.
Student Pass Application Process
- Apply with ICA: Submit your Student Pass application to the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) within two weeks of receiving your acceptance letter.
- Timeline: Applications must be submitted no more than two months before your course starts and no later than one month prior to the start date.
- Online Submission: Use the Student’s Pass Online Application and Registration (SOLAR) system to complete and submit your application. Your university will provide you with the necessary registration details.
Post-Arrival Process
Upon arriving in Singapore, complete the application process by:
- Booking an appointment with ICA.
- Bringing your disembarkation/embarkation card (provided on arrival) to the appointment.
