Discover New Zealand

New Zealand is a Pacific island nation with a population of around 5 million. Its primary landmasses, the North and South Islands, are complemented by numerous smaller islands. The country is close to Australia, Fiji, New Caledonia, and Tonga.

Famed for its stunning, diverse landscapes—popularized globally by the Lord of the Rings film series—New Zealand’s terrain owes much to ancient volcanic activity. The country’s cultural richness stems from its blend of Māori, Pākehā (European), Asian, and Pacific Islander communities.

As a developed nation, New Zealand ranks highly in global indices for quality of life, education, health, and economic freedom. The service sector dominates its economy, followed by the industrial sector.

Top tourist attractions include:

  • The Coromandel Peninsula
  • Abel Tasman National Park
  • Sky Tower (Auckland)
  • Napier Art Deco
  • Kaikoura
